Just a peek.

Just a little peek into what I have been working on in the baby's room (my old office). I am getting closer to being done organizing + moving things around and will post more photos soon. 

And yes, she will have an "A" name.

As my due date draws near I've been doing a lot of thinking about how different things are in my life now compared to when Simon was born almost 7 years ago. At that point in my life scrapbooking had not even entered the picture. I was working as a graphic designer and didn't plan to work after Simon was born.

I knew nothing of what life was going to be like as a mama, nor the challenges we would face, nor the changes that would come, nor how much more fulfilling my life would be.   

I have been comparing and contrasting the two pregnancies and they are different in so many ways. Being my second time around I am overall less anxious and more relaxed even though our lives are much crazier than in the past. This baby is head down; Simon was feet first. I was much sicker this time around in those first three months than with Simon. I feel like she moves a bunch more than he did. Simon came on his own at 37 weeks...will she be early too?

Here's to life. And to twists & turns and anticipation and changes and possibility and being open.

I am still working on compiliing the list of words for 2009. Look for them to be posted later today.
