    Inspired by:

    Pink_green

    • A wonderful visually inspiring feminine color combination found at inchmark  (she calls them "color stories" which of course I love) . And yes, I am totally into delicate little pinks right now (and washing very small baby clothes).

Leo's new book The Power of Less. Lots of you know that I am a big fan of Leo's popular Zen Habits blog. I am working my way through his new book and it's all about getting down to the essentials of everything in your life. A great read for so many of you that are (like me) working on simplifying your lives.

    • Listening to Alexi Murdoch's Time Without Consequence album and The Weepies again.

    • A perfectly simple dotted stamp from Hero Arts. This is one that can be used over & over again.

    • A moving post from my brilliant friend Brene about life and honesty and vulnerability.

    • Waiting for a new issue from LMNOP - a quarterly online parents & kids magazine based in Australia.

    Garlandclose

    • A great tutorial from Purl Bee on making a party garland (which could definitely be an "anytime" garland). Love that they include a template to download.

    • Also inspired today by going through my photo files on iPhoto and making a list of stories that have yet to be told. I found LOTS that should keep me going for a bit...now just to get to work on them.

Meeting with a surgeon this morning to talk about options moving forward with my melanoma issues. Looking forward to getting some more information and clarification on what steps should be taken next. Normally a stage one would simply have the margins removed but I have some extenuating circumstances (including being pregnant + a history of atypical moles called Dyplastic Nevus Syndrome) that could potentially call for some more aggressive approaches now and in the future. Thank you for your continued prayers and positive thoughts - they are really appreciated.
